About
Standard WEA alerts are coarse — text only, county-broad, dropped from memory the moment they expire. Amber Amp ingests NCMEC's AMBER + Silver feeds, geocodes them, and surfaces them in the iOS Public Safety bucket with photo carousel, suspect / vehicle cards, area-of-responsibility map, and a 'Tip line' direct dial. Donations cover ingest infrastructure and the AMBER push-notification entitlement.
The challenge
AMBER alerts cross jurisdictions but data feeds don't. State silver-alert feeds in particular have wildly inconsistent URL drift — we monitor and patch as agencies move endpoints.
